Our Review – Photo Gallery

Do you like bunnies? If you do, you must go camping at Bend-Sunriver RV Campground! There were bunny rabbits everywhere! The campground staff feeds the bunnies which keeps them hanging around, and of course they keep multiplying. It was interesting to see the mix between domestic and wild bunnies, some were very unique. We were not able to catch any of them, but we had a great time feeding and chasing them. Some of them were very brave and came right up to us, even when we didn’t have food for them.

While in the area, it snowed in Deschutes National Forest so we got to sled! Matt, Keahi & Autumn were so excited about the snow (Gesen & Isaiah were content to sit by the fire watching everyone else play in the cold). We also enjoyed several local breweries and food trucks. It was a little inconvenient that none of the sites had sewer connections, but Matt was able to empty our tanks using our Camco Rhino Portable Waste Tank.

But did She LIKE it?

Yes! There was a courtyard area with lots of benches so I could sit and drink my coffee while Keahi chased the bunnies. I was able to relax a little and he was able to run around and have lots of fun. The book exchange was huge and had toys Keahi could play with while I looked at books.

But did He LIKE it?

Yes, there were so many fun outdoor activities to do while in the area. I really enjoyed getting our mountain bikes setup, which the guys at the REI bike shop knew their stuff and were very patient with all of my questions. We were able to get the right gear for the boys and us to be able to enjoy our biking experience for years to come. I only wish that we were in the area during snowboarding season. But as we say whenever we find a good spot, there’s always next time!

Activities we enjoyed outside the park:

We loved getting to spend time with our friends
Sledding in the snow in Deschutes National Forest
We enjoyed hanging out by the fire tasting new brews at On Tap Bend and The Bite
Dinner at Hablo Tacos and Sunriver Brewing Company
Lunch at The Phoenix after church at New Hope Bend
We also spent a lot of time (and money) at REI buying and retrofitting Bicycles!
